This information has been received from South West Highways and Devon County Council:
Circumstances and weather permitting, SWH hope to undertake essential resurfacing works in the vicinity of your property on behalf of Devon County Council, between 28th January and 12th February 2016. (Please be aware however that these dates may need to change at short notice).
To enable us to carry out the works safely, it will be necessary to close the roads for the duration of the works, which will be carried out in 4 phases as shown on the map below. The map also shows each relevant diversion route. The road will reopen outside of the working hours, and be open over the weekends.
Work will be undertaken between 0930 and 1530hrs and it will assist us in completing the works on schedule if you would remove your vehicle from the road between these hours. Please note any remaining vehicles may be towed at the discretion of either Devon County Council or the police and unfortunately SWH cannot be held responsible for this decision.
If you are a resident within the closure we will endeavour to maintain access to your property and keep any inconvenience to you to a minimum. However, some interruption may be unavoidable and for this we apologise in advance. Please drive slowly and be aware of the workmen.
Your cooperation is appreciated, and if you would like to speak to anyone regarding these works please call the site agent Bob Pinkney on 07768 216806 or myself on the above number or 01404 821500. (9am-5pm Monday – Friday)
